Carol Oline Stavik, was born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska and later lived in Seldovia,
Soldotna, and Anchorage, Alaska. She studied art in High School, at the College of
the Redwoods, Eureka, California, and had private tutoring in Fortuna, California and
in Grants Pass, Oregon. Carol is a member of Umpqua Valley Art Association,
Roseburg, Riddle Art Guild, Riddle, and a signature member of Umpqua River
Gallery.com, OR. Just completed a one woman show at the Center of Spiritual Living,
Roseburg. She currently is showing at the Ye Olde Shoppe in Myrtle Creek.

Carol is an Alaskan Native and is interested in the recording of nature. After retiring
from her real estate practice in Alaska, she and her husband, Glenn, have made their
home in Riddle, Oregon. They enjoy gardening, chickens, 4 cats and a cocker
spaniel. The joy of their lives are their two grand-daughters, Kali and Ashley.
