Ann Vaara, a native of the Pacific Northwest, grew up roaming the beaches of Puget Sound, then moved to Douglas County and discovered the Umpqua River and the Oregon coast. Her love of natural Oregon is reflected in the textured rocks and water in her landscape paintings.
